As people with neurodivergencies, therapy can only take us so far when so many of the mental health struggles stem from the real manifestations of our disabilities. ADHD coaching has been invaluable to my journey of self-discovery and learning how to support myself as a late-diagnosed Autistic persom. Coaching with Brooke Larimer took the cathartic honesty that can come from therapy but focused on solutions. She had a unique skill for asking questions that pushed me to see my challenges from the outside, and to consider that perspective alongside all of the real experiences and layers that went into each challenge. She was easy to talk to and realistic, always understanding, and non-judgemental. Brooke took everything I had to say as valuable information in working towards manageable changes that might make a difference in my day-to-day life. What I found most interesting was that often the changes I made were perspective based, and the real-world changes stemmed from these new perspectives. Learning how to manage my unique experience of neurodivergence has proven integral to both my mental and physical health. If you are someone struggling to figure out what to do with a new neurodivergence diagnosis, have known of your ADHD or Autism for a while and are struggling to cope, or even just suspect that some targeted collaborative focus on your executive functioning might help, I cannot recommend working with Brooke enough.

After becoming a mom and feeling more overwhelmed than ever I reached out to Brooke for an initial consultation. I had never worked with a coach before and didn't exactly know if it would be helpful but I'm so happy I took that chance because it changed my entire perspective and gave me new tools to work towards my goals (even if I didn't always know what those were). I felt understood without having to constantly explain myself (as either an artist or a person with ADHD) and Brooke guided me with questions and redirections that helped me narrow my objectives with clearer, more defined steps to get there. Most of all, Brooke was able to trim down my ever-branching idea and anxiety bubbles that prevented me from getting anything started, and bring me a newfound sense of purpose and confidence to move forward with my artistic pursuits and to better communicate my needs to those around me (and to myself!!).
Thanks to Brooke's guidance I feel like I'm back on track with renewed fervor and am looking forward to working with her again! - Anonymous -
